Overview

Private WiFi Camera provides local (LAN-only) video streaming. Live video stays within your Wi-Fi network and is not sent to our servers.

Data We Collect

We do not operate a backend that collects personal data. The app has no accounts and does not upload your live streams to the internet.

Third-Party Services (Google)

We may use the following Google services:

AdMob – advertising (may use Advertising ID and device signals; honors consent/non-personalized ads).
Firebase Analytics – anonymous usage metrics to improve quality.
Firebase Crashlytics – crash diagnostics (device model/OS, stack traces).
Firebase Remote Config – feature flags (e.g., maintenance/updates).
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – optional notifications.
Google Play Billing – purchases/subscriptions (we do not receive card data).

These services process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal data.

On-Device Processing

Camera: capture and stream video locally on your Wi-Fi.
Network (LAN): device discovery and streaming inside your network only.
Logs: basic diagnostics kept on device; you can clear them.

Children’s Privacy

This app is for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security & User Controls

Streaming remains within your local network (LAN-only by default).
You can stop streaming at any time and clear local data (clips/logs stored on your device).
The app does not provide public posting or chat features.

Data Retention

We retain only aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics via Google services. Any clips you save are stored locally on your device until you delete them.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access or delete data held by Google services. Refer to Google’s privacy policies for AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above when changes are made.
